HENRY, S.D. (KELO) – A female has been taken into law enforcement custody next the theft of a tractor in South Dakota.
According to a release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Place of work, officers responded to a documented gasoline generate-off in the town of Henry at about 10 a.m. on Friday. Regulation enforcement located the car and tried to make a quit, but the driver did not produce. Authorities say a collision transpired with one more motorist forcing the motor vehicle into a ditch, right after which the driver fled on foot.
All-around 5:50 p.m. the exact day, police gained a report of a tractor becoming driven west of Clark County with a female matching the description of the before report. Officers responded to the scene where by a John Deere tractor failed to produce to law enforcement.
Eventually, officers managed to get the tractor to cease. Law enforcement then took Jayden Durick into custody.
Durick is getting held on a $20,000 money-only bond and is remaining billed with eluding, theft, and grand theft of the tractor.
“The investigation is ongoing,” police in Clark County confirmed.
